Rules
RULES:
1. Entry blanks are available on-line at the https://MuscatineCountyFair.com
or pick-up at the Fair office. Please complete form before check-in.
2. Only one entry per household allowed in each list no, unless otherwise noted.
3. Items earning a blue ribbon in the previous year at Muscatine County Fair may NOT be entered again for competition until the 2nd year after winning.
4. If there are 10 or more entries in any list category, the category will be divided into two groups for judging. First half of ticket by numbers- then- second half of ticket numbers.
5. All entries must be cleaned, pressed if cloth, and framed or in protective sleeves for paper items as to be judged.
6. Any article must be meritorious to draw a premium and shall be entitled to first premium only if worthy. Second premiums may be awarded, but the Fair will not pay second premium where there is no competition.
7. During judging, we ask that all comments on an item be saved until after that class is completed for that item.
8. At release, please be prompt and present your tickets for each item entered with Class and list# written on the ticket. Pick up premiums on the west side of the building. All items not picked up by 5pm will be taken to the Muscatine County Fair office.
Premiums in all lists: 1st place blue ribbon – $2.50 2nd Place Red Ribbon $2.00
