About Monica Monica Austin is a Midwest Country Music artist from the Quad City Area. Her slice-of-life writing style and swing for the fences stage show are a refreshing, honest representation of growing up in the Heartland and have earned a fiercely loyal fanbase there. Monica's brand of country music didn't originate on a farm, but rather a little trailer park in Cambridge, IL. Her tendency to perform in bare feet over the genre-standard cowgirl boots is nearly as indicative of her journey as her lyrics.
