StarStruck Masonry LLC Donates $5,000 to Event Center at the Muscatine County Fair

WEST LIBERTY, IA- StarStuck Masonry LLC of Atalissa has made a $5,000 donation to the new Event Center at the Muscatine County Fair. Steven Struck and Kassy Veach have four children: Savanna and Sawyer Struck, and Brylee and Oaklyne Veach.

Growing up, both Steven and Kassy attended the fair. While Steven raced at the speedway for many years, Kassy showed livestock and participated in numerous 4-H and FFA activities. They are raising their children to love and partake in all aspects of the fair and cannot wait to see their achievements as they grow.

Steven and Kassy’s family enjoys all the family activities and evening entertainment in front of the grandstand. The kids have all participated in the kid’s activities from carnival rides, cash dash, rabbit and chicken scramble, and even some of the pee wee shows in the livestock areas. Steven also actively participated in the fair race for many years. The fair has been a whole family event for their family for years.

“The fair allows youth to show off their variety of talents and provides healthy competition for them to learn and prosper.” Said, Kassy Veach.

The event center will be where the 4-H and FFA projects are housed during the fair. It will also be a place where 4-H meetings and workshops can take place year-round. The event center right now is on track to be finished in early 2026. The foundation and floor have been poured, along with much of the underground work has been done. Framing of the building is taking place now and is going very well. This is extremely exciting to see the vision of the event center come to life.

“We really feel the fair helps bring the whole community together, and we feel the event center will help make that even more prominent.” Said Steven Struck, Owner and Founder of StarStruck Masonry.

“I can’t thank Steven and Kassy enough for their generous donation to the event center. It helps tremendously.” Said, Kelsey Meyers, Muscatine County Fair Manager.
